GlamzKart Marketplace Seller Agreement

1. Agreement Acceptance

By registering as a seller on GlamzKart marketplace, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. This agreement constitutes a legally binding contract between you (the "Seller") and GlamzKart ("Platform", "We", "Us").

2. Seller Eligibility

  • Must be at least 18 years of age or a legally registered business entity
  • Must have valid business registration documents where applicable
  • Must provide accurate and complete information during registration
  • Must have a valid bank account for payment settlements
  • Must comply with all applicable local, state, and national laws

3. Seller Obligations

3.1 Product Listing Requirements

  • Provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date product descriptions
  • Use high-quality, authentic product images
  • Clearly mention product specifications, dimensions, and features
  • Disclose any defects, damages, or limitations
  • Update inventory levels in real-time
  • Ensure products comply with safety and quality standards

3.2 Order Fulfillment

  • Process orders within 24-48 hours for standard items
  • Ship orders within specified timeframes
  • Provide accurate tracking information to customers
  • Handle returns and refunds as per platform policy
  • Maintain professional communication with customers

3.3 Customer Service Standards

  • Respond to customer inquiries within 24 hours
  • Maintain professional and courteous communication
  • Resolve disputes in good faith and a timely manner
  • Maintain minimum 4.0-star average rating
  • Provide after-sales support as required

4. Commission & Fees

4.1 Commission Structure

  • Electronics & Technology: 3-5% commission
  • Fashion & Apparel: 8-12% commission
  • Home & Kitchen: 5-8% commission
  • Books & Media: 15% commission
  • Services: 10-15% commission

4.2 Fee Policy

  • No listing fees or monthly subscription charges
  • Commission is deducted from each successful sale
  • Additional fees may apply for premium services
  • All fees are clearly disclosed before implementation

5. Payment Terms

  • Payments settled within 7-14 days after successful delivery
  • Express settlements available for verified premium sellers
  • All transactions secured with bank-grade encryption
  • Dispute resolution and chargeback protection provided
  • Sellers responsible for applicable taxes and compliance

6. Prohibited Items & Activities

6.1 Strictly Prohibited Items

  • Illegal drugs and controlled substances
  • Weapons, ammunition, and explosives
  • Counterfeit or pirated products
  • Stolen goods or items of questionable origin
  • Adult content and services
  • Live animals and endangered species products
  • Hazardous materials and chemicals

6.2 Prohibited Activities

  • Manipulating reviews or ratings
  • Creating multiple accounts to circumvent policies
  • Engaging in fraudulent or deceptive practices
  • Violating intellectual property rights
  • Spamming or unsolicited marketing

7. Intellectual Property

  • Sellers must respect all trademark and copyright laws
  • Unauthorized use of brand names or logos is prohibited
  • Sellers must obtain proper licenses for branded products
  • Platform reserves right to remove infringing content
  • Sellers liable for any intellectual property violations

8. Account Suspension & Termination

8.1 Grounds for Suspension

  • Violation of terms and conditions
  • Selling prohibited or restricted items
  • Poor customer service ratings (below 3.0 stars)
  • Fraudulent activities or misrepresentation
  • Failure to fulfill orders within specified timeframes
  • Multiple customer complaints and disputes

8.2 Appeal Process

Suspended sellers can appeal decisions within 30 days by contacting seller support with relevant documentation. Appeals are reviewed within 5-7 business days.

9. Limitation of Liability

  • Platform acts as intermediary between sellers and buyers
  • Sellers are solely responsible for product quality and compliance
  • Platform not liable for seller's business losses or damages
  • Maximum liability limited to commission fees paid
  • Sellers must maintain appropriate insurance coverage

10. Dispute Resolution

  • All disputes are subject to Indian jurisdiction and laws
  • Mediation preferred before legal proceedings
  • Arbitration available for commercial disputes
  • Platform provides dispute resolution support

11. Modifications to Terms

GlamzKart reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Sellers will be notified of significant changes via email or platform notifications. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
